The build “specification” is matched to each individual contract; The House Brick / Render is professionally matched, the Window design is copied to produce the same style or Glass design. Doors / Architraves / Door Furniture / Skirting Board are matched to ensure complete continuity throughout the existing and new Living Space. Existing floor finishes are matched or contrasted, internal decoration is agreed, window blinds are chosen, Bathroom finishes are confirmed.
All materials are pre–ordered and delivered to site in shrink wrapping by our preferred suppliers. With our vast experience of time scales only three deliveries are usually required for a standard Garage Conversion.
Building Regulations are for the benefit of all home owners, More Living Space recommend site inspection by Building Control, it adds value to your property extension and provides an independent seal of approval to the quality of your new Living Space. Your quote includes all fees for compliance and all the paperwork for Building Control is completed by More Living Space.
Planning Permission is not usually required for Garage Conversions and some extensions, however there are occasions when this is a requirement. This could be due to a covenant on the property or the original planning authority placed a requirement for notification of any changes to the property or the proposed extension requires “Planning Approval”. More Living Space will provide guidance on all aspects of Building Control / Planning.
